Margaret Bublitz, from Providence, Rhode Island, will research ‘Reducing Perinatal Mental Illness by Building Global Partnerships’ at Massey University, to identify and disseminate best practices in maternal mental health service delivery in the United States, United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and help accelerate global improvements in maternal mental health. Margaret is an Associate Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Maureen D. Neumann, from Burlington, Vermont, will research ‘Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Computational Thinking in Teacher Preparation Programs’ at the University of Canterbury. Maureen will collaborate with scholars in Germany, Canada and New Zealand as part of the award, and will explore how teacher educators across different countries leverage Artificial Intelligence and computational thinking to enhance teachers’ pedagogical practices in schools. Maureen is a Professor of Education at the University of Vermont.

Fulbright US Scholar Award Brian Walker, from Fairfield, Connecticut, will research ‘Penguins and Microplastics – a Global Collaboration on Research Techniques and Population Education’ at the University of Otago. Brian is an Associate Dean and a Professor of Biology at Fairfield University, Connecticut.

Fulbright US Global Scholar Award Nancy Ann Neudauer, from Portland, Oregon, will research ‘Connecting far corners of the world through Matroids and Creating a Network of Women in Mathematics’ at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. Nancy is a Professor of Mathematics at Pacific University, Oregon.
