Fulbright US Graduate Award

Monica Dix from Chicago, Illinois, will research ‘Drinking Water and Disaster Risk Governance in Canterbury, Aotearoa’. Her project will collaborate with Environment Canterbury on a scoping survey to evaluate the impacts of new water regulatory frameworks on risks and challenges to Canterbury’s regional drinking water systems, capturing the impacts of a key water governance transition at the interface between policy and practice.

Monica has a BA in Geology and Politics from Oberlin College, Ohio.
