Fulbright New Zealand invites you to a free public seminar by alumnus Paul Duignan from Parker Duignan Consulting and Massey University Albany. Paul received a 2004 Fulbright New Zealand Scholar Award to research how public sector organisations in the US and New Zealand manage for outcomes, based at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC.
In this seminar, Paul will discuss his research into outcomes theory – how strategic outcomes are identified, prioritised, measured and attributed – with real world examples including regime change in Iraq, the US’s No Child Left Behind policy and New Zealand’s National Standards. He will also talk about his involvement in the development of DoView software, used internationally for visual strategic planning and outcomes management.
Places are limited so please RSVP to [email protected] or 472 2065 by Wednesday 26 February. Feel free to bring your own “brown bag” lunch.
