Applications for the 2026-27 academic year have closed. Applications for the 2027-28 academic year will open in late January 2027.

Please note that both application forms must be submitted by the application deadline for your application to be considered complete.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview. Interviews are held in Wellington and typically take place in late March or early April. Fulbright New Zealand covers the cost of travel to Wellington for applicants residing in New Zealand. Applicants based outside New Zealand who are unable to attend an interview in person may be disadvantaged.
