Christina Thomas from Wadsworth, Nevada will be based at the University of Auckland, working with iwi across Aotearoa to conduct research on Te Reo Māori, performance and culture.
Christina graduated with a BA in Music and a Minor in Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2019, and received an MA in Native American Studies from the University of California, Davis in 2021. Christina is currently a doctoral student in Native American Studies and earning a Designated Emphasis in Performance and Practice Studies at the University of California, Davis.
