Barrie Gordon from Wellington researched implementation of the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility pedagogical model in out-of-school programmes for underserved youth in the US, at North Illinois University in DeKalb.

Barrie is a Senior Leader and Curriculum Leader in Health and Physical Education at Victoria University of Wellington.
