2012 Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Scholar Award – Veronica Tawhai (Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Uepohatu) from Palmerston North researched indigenous political educators’ assessments of the transformative potential of citizenship education, at the Center for World Indigenous Studies in Olympia, Washington. Veronica is a Lecturer in Māori Studies at Massey University.
