Naomi Wasserman from Lafayette, California will research the geochemistry of antimony, a toxic metalloid, in New Zealand waters at the University of Otago.
Naomi graduated with a BA in Environmental Science from Barnard College in 2013. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Geology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
