Huia Jahnke from Palmerston North will research the nature of Indigenous community/higher education partnerships and resultant strategic initiatives at the University of California Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California and the Salish-Kootenai Tribal College in Pablo, Montana.

Huia is a Professor of Māori and Indigenous Education at Massey University, Palmerston North.
