Fulbright New Zealand invites you to a free public seminar by alumnus Michael Elmes, a professor of business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. Michael received a 2005 Fulbright US Scholar Award to research the portrayal of nature by biotechnology stakeholders in New Zealand, at Victoria University of Wellington.
In this seminar Michael will discuss why he identified Wellington as an ideal location for Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s newest international Project Center for undergraduate study abroad. Students from the Center’s first cohort, who have been engaged in hands-on project work with New Zealand government organizations and NGOs related to science, technology and society, will report on their experiences in New Zealand.
Places are limited so please RSVP to [email protected] or 472 2065 by Monday 18 February. Feel free to bring your own “brown bag” lunch.
This is the first in a series of monthly alumni seminars throughout 2013 at our offices in Wellington. Please mark the last Friday of every month in your calendar and we will send you details of upcoming seminars as they are confirmed.
